So I love little kids and babies, I don't have any of my own at the moment (and probably not for a while!). They're just so cute and full of happiness and energy! This was my first ever Mommy & Me session and it was a ton of fun, I have lots to learn for posing but I think this shoot was a success and I'm looking forward to doing more in the future!
This little cutie pie was just the best sport throughout this session. She didn't get fussy once and was the perfect little model in her custom made onesie even though it was freezing cold outside.
She wasn't entirely happy about how cold it was but I mean, what six month old would be happy to be outside on a cold January day in the middle of a park with some stranger pointing a camera at her for forty-five minutes? I can't think of any who would be thrilled to be in her situation! Then again, I don't know too many six month olds or really what they're thinking so maybe so was excited!
We did this session on January 11th around 3:30 Pm at Thetis Lake Park just outside of Victoria, BC. It's for sure one of my favorite locations! We were hoping to get some glowy golden hour lighting but had no such luck, but that didn't stop the three of us from getting a bunch of amazing shots and having fun!
Amy rented a Reclamation dress just for our shoot and it looked fantastic in on her! These dresses are perfect if you're wanting to feel like a beautiful boho goddess, and most of them are maternity friendly as well!
This session was a ton of fun and definitely made me want to do more Mommy and Me session!
